Did you know that Grey whales are primarily benthic feeders? That means they scoop their food up off the bottom of the ocean - which is unfortunately where a lot of anthropogenic debris like plastic accumulates.

Join Surfrider Pacific Rim on Chesterman Beach to learn how you can help keep the whales' habitat clean and plastic free. Please bring your own beach clean gloves and bucket, and a reusable mug for free refreshments!

This is a fun and educational event for the whole family.  Whale Fest Buttons will be available on site if you still don't have yours.
